They might not directly tell you their prices, but they do mention there is no signup fees and that they charge per transaction, which translates to per call or block of time. I am purely guessing, but it's probably somewhere around 20-30% of the fee charged to the client. I guess that based on the fact that GXbill handles all processing.
Now how does the tech work? Well that's easy really. There is some system that receives a call. The automation collects name, address, card info and issues out the access code upon successfully processing the transaction. You could build a system like that yourself. Just hire a programmer to integrate with SMS or Voip and attach a voice auto pilot to it with predefined options. After the data is collected, your programmer will have made it so the data is passed for processing. If the callback is successful the caller is issued a code, otherwise the caller is alerted that their card was declined and asked for another card or to try again later. It's just a code loop until call ends or success is called back. Furthermore you'd have to become a merchant and tie that into this auto pilot system, but for a programmer that would be cake.
Who pays by phone today anyway?
