Ashley has some kind of mental issue where she takes Ritalin and also suffers from Lyme disease.
There's probably a bit of cosmetic surgery in there as well.
I don't get the whole cosmetic surgery thing. Look at Nicole Kidman, her face would fall off in a gust of wind.
