I think you're right that the people in charge of sourcing chicken for mcdonalds don't give a fuck about chickens. It's not their job to police the farms. They could hire more inspectors but farmers probably don't do "chicken removal" on inspection days.
I just think the supplier would beat chickens no matter who was buying them. Whether they were supplying walmart, mcdonalds, kfc, whole foods... they would treat the birds the same way.
@aka123 The story tells how chickens are treated before becoming mcnuggets. I wasn't saying it's ethical. Just the story is misleading because the clubbed ones don't become anything but compost. Also, the unclubbed ones become lots of things besides mcdonalds.
