The radios on the top shelf are VHF / UHF transceivers via which you can communicate locally, through repeaters, via Amateur Satellites or via
IRLP or communicate with the Space Station when there is a licensed HAM on board.
The middle row are HF transceivers connected to an array of antennas for communicating over short wave bands.
The large radio on the desk is an
Icom IC 7600 HF transceiver which is my main station radio which is used mostly for competitions and very long distance or hard to reach signals from around the globe.
