I think it depends. While I could never in a million years see me using a .org, or .biz, I've done rather well with some .info's over the years and some of the newer extensions looks promising as well.

I think what it comes down to me is price and brandablility. I wouldn't spend $99 a year on a .anything but $20-25 MAYBE, if it was a GREAT EDM.
