neither does the mob...they just keep goons and thugs armed and call them when needed to "protect their interests" just like the US gov...
peace is being privatized by the US corporations, the profits from war are clear and obvious, and the "threat" from iraq or iran is completely non existent...
one difference between the US gov and the mob, the mob will be nicer to you and you have less chances of being killed
