Just some statistics. The number of
the US Spearhead forces (those that can be dropped anywhere in anytime): 10,000 + about 5,000 of airborne troops in the EU vs Russian airborne troops (VDV): 72,000 + 30,000 of Spetsnaz soldiers. So let's calculate it and we'll have
15,000 vs 100,000. That's a simple math. As about the budget, so Russia doesn't spend a cent to a salary of a regular soldier since he does his military service absolutely for free
