This place is what it's always been since lensman got out... A 6 figure a month business treated and ran as an afterthought. Of course it had to implode. Most businesses in the real world are struggling to completely reinvent themselves every 4-6 years - this is a place where the best ideas have been to get people to write self serving, self promoting posts about an aspect of the biz or fake awards based on who begs the most for votes.

No one has ever stopped to seriously ask "what is a community", "how do you build and foster the habit of coming here daily to find something of interest".... but instead just banned people on a whim without every considering the unintended consequences, without a purpose and without a plan.

The problem is not the industry - the problem is that any business left on autopilot, with only erratic and infrequent management will die.

Anyone that skins this board is a fucking nitwit - for what? To provide a backdrop to brassmonkey copy and paste racist/death news and wehateporn taking about how water is something your body doesn't need? Anyone that skins this board should be fired from their jobs, it's a simple as that.
