Look, you know nothing about Flint or the auto industry there. Or should I say, that used to be there.
The entire local economy has been suffering since the 80's. There are some factories left, but for the most part, they have packed up and opened up plants in Mexico and ship in parts from overseas. Robotics have also advanced.
The jobs are gone.
Neighborhoods have turned into mostly ghost towns with squatters, crack houses and just plain homes that are falling apart.
This is not the fault of Democrats like Spermbonzo is suggesting.
