Well, that's strange - someone could even accuse you in sending email to not opt-in subscribers

Seriously though, it is still marketing and landing page still has to sell and make user comfortable, maybe a ton of banners is what pushed them to complain in the first place.

In my experience, mailing ex-members of adult websites has never caused that much trouble, guess you just got unlucky with a list..
