There was no "German moon program". I know all about Von Braun's and what a handful of Germans did, but this was only a portion of the technology. I just finished reading "Apollo" by Bly Cox and Charles Murray, and also "Failure is not an option" by Gene Kranz - This was an American effort by thousands if not tens of thousands of American engineers...
I know you thin Russia is so great... For me... If Russia was to put boots on the moon tonight I was stay up all night watching it on TV because I would be so excited. I don't care who does it - The US, China Russia, - I just want mankind to move forward and I would be excited no matter who did it.
