hah, godwin simply made an observation, not a law, that the longer an internet argument goes on, the better the chance of one side comparing the other to Hitler. That observation has nothing to do with the logical fallacy of the Hitler comparison in and of itself and certainly does not validate a comedian making the comparison in order to goad people into changing their voted to someone he thinks is better.
