I wish I had something new to report. My initial email did get a reply but an actual answer to my question was avoided. I sent in a follow up reply but that's been completely neglected.
Something bigger than just a simple overhaul has to be going on. No company would take their site offline for 3 weeks and not be taking in new orders if something major was coming down the pipe.
At this point, I'm writing this off as a loss.
