Joshua, what I'm trying to do is talk about the science of it. I know it might be difficult, but lets leave politics out of it for the time being, and concentrate the conversation on the very basics first.

No, El Niño is a naturally occurring event in the equatorial region which causes temporary changes in the world climate. Originally, El Niño was the name used for warmer than normal sea surface temperatures in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of South America.

Of course the strong will survive. The only problem with that is that the world we survive it might not be a beautiful. The air and water might not be as clean, and food might not be as abundant. Oh and millions more people may starve to death, not to mention animals and sea life. But hey, as long as you Joshua are alive that's all that matters, right? peace.
