Yeah the censorship actually forces the directors to focus on something other than the actual penetration, lighting, angles, setup, acting, scenarios, locations, etc. Stuff that is frequently overlooked or seen as an afterthought in western porn. Additionally, the japanese have not lost the art of making a fantastic DVD cover that really sizzles. In fact they have continued to perfect that seemingly lost art.

I am a huge fan of JAV but I haven't been able to get into the uncensored stuff as much, I find that while the censored material has great production value, the uncensored seems to ignore all that and with all the Japanese can teach us about attention to detail, they could learn a lot still from western porn about uncensored shoots.
