GREENSBORO, N.C. ? A High Point man allegedly tried to pay his jail bond with fake money and had his bond increased.

The Greensboro News & Record reported that 20-year-old Jarious Treymayne Mock was arrested after recently yelling a graphic statement at a Greensboro police officer.

The police officer then approached the suspect and found that he had a warrant for his arrest on a failure to appear charge.

Mock was arrested and given a $200 bail, in which he allegedly tried to pay for with a counterfeit $100 bill and counterfeit $20 bill.

The suspect has since been charged with possession of a counterfeit instrument or currency. He has been jailed in Guilford County under a $2,000 bail.
