milk is very poorly tolerated in asian regions, it has something to do with genes, on the other hand, some people can not live without milk they are "lactose dependent"...
Proper bread is slow carbohydrates, giving you energy throughout the whole day.

If you eat an apple (or other grass stuff) you will have used all it's energy within half hour.
