Yeah I don't get it either why this sport draws so many primitive people.
When interviewed they say they do it as fans because of passion and love for their teams.
What I miss is for the players and coaches to come forward and in the media tell these people they are unwanted. Tell them that they aren't fans, and that they actually are a disgrace to the team and to society. Tell them to find something else to be passioned about, because they don't love football - they just love violence.
I remember a news clip a couple of years ago from a world cup I beleive, a shop owner which shop had been totally destroyed by hooligans. She was just crying "why?". What should have been a pleasant time for everyone, and a economic boost to the little city, instead turned into a nightmare. Was almost heartbreaking to see.
