China has ambitions to send a manned ship to the moon very soon, but we have to convince them to reconsider, as it will be seen as a violation of the alien treaty and an invasion of the alien airspace. The Chinese intend to setup mining operations on the moon for helium 3, but the aliens already have claimed that resource for themselves.
If we provoke them, this could potentially spark an interplanetary war, which we would lose. If you're not already digging a bunker, now might be a good time to start.
