Turning 40 was horrible for me, but I'm quite up to speed with the advances in stem cell rejuvenation and so on and I consoled myself with the promise that by the time I was 50 (if I made enough money) I would be starting to turn back the clock.

I'm now 45 and the only thing I've had done so far is laser eye surgery which has made my far-sighted vision better than it was when I was young.

By 2026 (when you will be 50) such treatments will be widespread and it will be common for even pensioners to look like twenty somethings.
