You are correct. Unfortunately is not only them but ALSO Putin and the Chinese and all the other controlling entity of any country.
ALL politicians are corrupt and only out for personal gain at the cost of the masses they claim to be "helping" by collecting various taxes from the citizens aka slaves and/or property of the government.
All governments are this way...some just hide it better than others.
