The answer is, any and all the above, whether it was their initial intention in going there. Or a spur-of-the-moment whim. They had absolute freedom and power to do whatever they wanted, to whomever they wanted. There was no one to say "no" except the conceal-carry guy.
Banning guns simply removes the element of the conceal-carry guy from this video, leaving these criminals with complete freedom to do any and all atrocities to innocent people that they feel like doing.
Judging from the way the criminals ran, a gun-fight is probably the last thing these guys wanted or expected. I would imagine that, had they known, they would have decided against going to this cafe altogether. They would have chosen a safe place to do crime, such as a gun-free zone.
Please join me on election day in voting for Hillary, so we can get guns banned and make the entire country a safe place.  |
For every one of these, there are 20 idiots who shoot themselves by mistake or worse someone else, that or when kids find a gun and shoot someone.
The simple fact is there are very few citizen hero's that save the day vs accidental shootings from wannabe heros.
I have my concealed carry permit and it was easy to get. IMO you should be required to take extensive training in order to get a carry permit instead of hey squeeze of 3 rounds out of a .22 pistol the instructor is holding and here is your certification...
