Perhaps some states have extra rules, but most F2F is completely legal. Hence the reason the whole background check never stops guns getting into the hands of criminals and felons.

Indeed. That is ridiculous. So what if someone kills with your guy that you sold, will police be able to trace that gun to you? Or even that is not registered?
Sounds a bit crazy to me, I mean you can have semi legal business - buy guns and sell it to those that can not buy them due to checks...
