To me, there are two things that are very important when finding reviewers to work for you.

1. People who have knowledge about whatever it is you are going to review. They need to know what makes it bad or good.

2. The ability to then convey that opinion. If they like or don't like something they need to be able to explain why they feel that way in a reasonable and coherent manner.

When it comes to pay, If it were me doing the reviews I would charge by the hour because it isn't just writing something, you need to check out the site, try it out, and take your time exploring it and coming to an opinion of it. I would be willing to charge by the word, but I would factor my research time into it.
