Given the recent evidence, one could say it is a rather legitimate concern.

Of course even if you caught any of the parties personally admitting they rigged the election (which one of them actually did already in their emails / own words caught on hidden cam with their primaries antics, fake protesters, collusion with mass media that has been beyond obvious from the very start etc.).

A part of the electorate is likely to still die hard deny any evidence and even try to ridicule those that are stating the obvious. Unfortunately, this is not just completely irrational, but also a very, very dangerous precedent.
