Well, does that mean Caribbeancom has been illegal all the time? I tried to promote them years ago and their content was amazing, high-end stuff and uncensored - they gave me access to their members area. Simply the best Japanese porn I have seen to this date.

From a Japanese perspective (ie Japan authorities), sites like Carribeancom are illegal, but from a US and EU-perspective, they're totally legal. There's only an issue if you're theoretically an affiliate promoting them from within Japan. I'm not sure if it's illegal for a person in Japan to just download uncensored movies, the legal issue is about their domestic distribution.
