Silicon Valley?React, Redux, Node programmer to build complex web applications
I've made the decision to switch to freelance work full time. I have been working at tech startups in Silicon Valley working on various things such as Gamification, Augmented Reality, DevOps, and AI. I really enjoyed building CMS and sites in the past so I'm getting back into it.
Nowadays I specialize in Single Page Applications in React / Redux and use node for the backend work. MySQL, MongoDB for databases, occasionally Redis when needed.
Single Page Applications (SPA) are web pages that feel much more like a desktop app. They don't require completely loading an entirely new webpage each time something is clicked and generally feel faster, easier to use, and can provide richer user experiences.
They are ideally suited for CMS / admin systems as well as complex user facing websites.
