That's a good question, I don't know the answer. I do know people that have been deported AFTER they served years in Fed. pirson. If they ever come back and get caught it's to Fed. Prison 5 or 10 years (can't remember), the USA does not want you back. I know one person, they didn't catch him dealing or doing drugs. They got him for his life style, he went to Fed. prison for 10 years, then depoted. His wife and kids still live here.
They knew he was selling drugs but couldn't catch him, So they filed charges for his life style. He couldn't prove were he got the money to buy 4 cars and Vans, a big house in the Bay Area. He was working in a machine shop making $12.00 per hour at that time. He did serve the full 10 years, he wouldn't make a deal with them.
