first, he trained with several weapons, hand guns & the mp5, itīs an assault rifle with a detachable magazine. Anyway, either way, not going to argue with you over a name used for the type of gun.
Second, I said in 98, was Putin even in government then? He was training to protect VIPīs in Russia & Africa. The training was for tactical manoeuvre, if the OP was taken or an attack was in occurrence. Again, none of this matters as he never went to Russia or Africa, but, has & was very good for him to have had such training. Knowledge of self defence is always good.
Now he does own a sword, a very nice one. Itīs 50 odd times layered & cost over a grand. Will be good if the zombies come to get us
