On the campaign trail Trump said that the media were "the most dishonest people on the world".
His man Spicer took the first press conference after the ceremony to argue about press coverage.
Trump has made a political career out of screaming "lyer" and "crook" at his perceived opponents. His denunciation of the media is a calculated deception. When the awkward questions get asked of him he plays this card over and over. It is a vile rouse to gain and maintain power at the expense of the truth.
