Trump also has a building in Turkey, where Micheal Flynn was registered was acting as a "agent of a foreign power".

I like Rachel Maddow, especially on complex stories like this. She explains it well, and provides proof to backup everything she says. Even cooler, after she explains something she asks her guest if she explained it and understood it right. She's also fast to let her viewers know when she got something wrong or made a mistake. I think she's one of the smartest people on TV.

Granted, "Maddow has Trump's Tax Returns" is an unfortunately sensational headline that isn't worthy of a Fox News "News Alert". She only had 2 pages, and they're from 2005, so the headline is ... well... kind of meh. But she still brings up important questions and issues that you and every other American should be asking. Just because you don't like Rachel Maddows doesn't mean you should give Trump a pass. Focus.
Here's why her report was important, and, what should have been your take-away from it.
- Trump was still benefitting from his giant business failure '96.
- He paid a very low tax rate. He paid 6.9% LESS than you did.
- Maddow doing this scared the shit out of him. Did you see and read the Whitehouse statement about tonight's show? Here's what it said:
Quote:
Before being elected President, Mr. Trump was one of the most successful businessmen in the world with a responsibility to his company, his family and his employees to pay no more tax than legally required," the press office said in a statement. "That being said, Mr. Trump paid $38 million dollars even after taking into account large scale depreciation for construction, on an income of more than $150 million dollars, as well as paying tens of millions of dollars in other taxes such as sales and excise taxes and employment taxes and this illegally published return proves just that

How stupid are they? Maddow has the right to do this. 1st amendment, anyone? Fucking christ. Why do you continue to support such a disfunctional, completely stupid, equipped doofus with ties to the Mob, Russians, and communist China? For such a flag-waving patriot, you sure do act like a commie!
Peace.
