I disagree that this shows Trump in a reasonable light.
He makes a lot less money then we had thought. It also shows that he wrote off $150 million, which is utterly ridiculous.
However, none of this is really bad - it just confirms what we guessed. The big thing for me is that the only reason he paid any taxes is because of the alternative minimum tax. The bad thing is Trump is trying to remove this tax. Trump is trying to change the tax code to benefit his business.
That should be a crime.
