well theres 2 solutions:
1) the west goes under...it can not compete...
2) the west closes its boarders to any international trade at all...closed ecosystem...you will still go under...the west can not afford to sell just to the west this is 1/5th of humanity total...the other 4/5ths of the market will not be accessible to you...you are delusional if you think imposing taxes on imports will not affect your exports or that other countries will not impose taxes and measures right back...la chateliers principle applies to everything not just chemistry...
