The mudslimes in this region are a big problem for Russia. There have been wars and terror attacks (the Beslan school attack being the most notorious).

The muslims that killed these gays come from the same vein of islamic extremists who killed nearly 400 white Russian kids in the Beslan school. But you won't see HuffPo or NY Times framing it out that way. The Russia-Trump evil bedfellows narrative is much too important for full facts.
