If major powers used tactical nuclear weapons half the world would be a parking lot and the survivors would need protective suits and breathing apparatus to venture above ground.
Shit-holes not worth bombing would be the only inhabitable places on the planet. Buying property in Africa or South America might make sense if this is the future you see.
