You are just falling for BS spin from the Trump admin and don't really seem to grasp what this hearing was about. This hearing wasn't about the Russian investigation, it was if Trump attempted to obstruct justice when he fired Comey..

This was Comey's direct quote...
“I was fired in some way to change, or the endeavor was to change, the way the Russia investigation was being conducted.”
This is what this hearing was about, obstruction of justice. anything else was second fiddle..
