This is not how it works. We don't say "You are doing things wrong, but we want to support you, so we'll just let it slide".
This is a knee jerk reaction and an attempt to quickly fulfil a campaign promise. It was improperly done. This is a complete smokescreen making it look like "We are doing something to protect America" when they aren't really doing anything. We clearly do not have a rush of Terrorists coming into the US from Syria and Iran killing Americans.
