Actually, The Kids from NZ, not far from where I'm from. The tattoo would be off putting but hardly an issue at the local meat works or farm work, the local biggest employers. There will be plenty of local Maori boys with full face tattoos in full employment with no problems. Google "Maori Head Tattoos"
His issue is he's a white boy, with a distinguishable tattoo that's been done for armed robbery and many other crimes and lives in a small town. If he dropped the fucking attitude and showed he could do a days work.. he would find it.

Sensationalized news the local community is dealing with.
Hopefully the kid wakes up, grows a beard and pulls him self out of the benefit cycle. All we can do as a community is give him the support he needs to achieve that. But its up to him to break that cycle.
