True - I was in Aus for a year or so - I did see koalas and kangaroos, but trust me we had to look for them hard - When we did see them they were always heading in the opposite direction and you just saw their asses in the distance or squashed on the side of the road...
We did see a wild Cassowary close up - They are very rare and it was pure luck.....
