It's also a bit odd that uninsured rate was 10-15% for decades, but now when someone suggests that government subsidizing health insurance might not be the best plan, everyone is bitching and whining as though the sky is falling, claiming that without Obamacare society will collapse and we'll have people dieing in the streets.
