The business model is something like "they get paid per 1000 downloads".
It's usually not a very high amount, it's like $1 or $2 per 1000 downloads and the download site make it back by advertising and premium memberships.
I have banned it on my forum, most of those forum links will be automatically deleted by the forum system. It does not add anything and I do not want to link to those - often - site or scene rips.
