I love how nobody mentioned how badly in shape the Russian economy is in. That is why he's doing this, its' prudent. Their entire system is based on one thing only, oil. The price of oil is KILLING the Russian economy, when it was nice and high they were spending and spending. It all came to a halt quick once we starting producing our own along with all the renewable sources we are finally using. EU also is using less and less Russian oil/gas at the already low price. They are hurtin.
