At the close of World War II, NO ONE wanted to make war any more. There was no resistance movement by the Germans and the Japanese, no terrorist attacks, no acts of disobedience. This was because years of all out war was truly devastating and horrible, no one wanted it to continue, and everyone agreed it was much better to surrender and accept it and move on.

We need to say "the next time a group from your country attacks us, we will invade, remove your government, and NEVER leave". Doesn't sound possible? We did it with Germany and we did it with Japan, and we STILL have troops in both countries.

When we make war, it needs to be total war. Vietnam is a good example of this - we did not totally commit and look what happened. Same with Afghanistan, and same with Iraq. We to send in a million troops and say "We will never leave".

Think about it.
