I disagree. Kneeling is a sign of respect. We kneel in church; Men kneel when they propose to a woman. This is why high school football players and cheerleaders kneel when there is an injured player on the field. When you kneel during the national anthem, you are showing respect. Please do not tell me when you kneel you are showing respect to "the crown" - That's like saying when a man kneel when proposing to a woman he is showing respect to his last girlfriend.
