no one is suggesting to completely ban guns. just make them harder to get and not sell guns that have no use whatsoever besides blasting shit at ranges and killing people like semi autos.
as for your drug analogy, i guess it depends who you are. i have no idea how to buy any kind of drug other than weed and even that is a hassle.
