An Oktoberfest Thank You

With yesterday being the last day of 2017 Oktoberfest I feel it is time for me to finally say thank you to all of the sponsors, attendees and organizers for this years initial Oktoberfest Gathering 2.0. Everyone knows what this event means to me and I can not express enough how lucky I am to know all of you.

First off, I need to thank Ines. The rock who did it all. Ines is an amazing person and the fact she did everything she did from her heart just shows you how great she is. The world would be a better place with more people like her. I don't remember the day I met her but thank God I did.

Secondly, Sascha W who came through with 2 nights of tent seatings. It is not easy to do for the amount of tables we needed. He saved the event.

Joel, Rene and Tibor for helping with the behind the scenes work. 3 amazing people I love in a hetero man way. If there is an accidental pinky slip, well shit happens.

Michael, Harmik, Tony (and the Mrs) and my old friend Mike for putting up with me for this event just for the fact they know how much this means to me. Incredible people that are more like family to me (without asking for money).

The sponsors should each get their own post but that is unrealistic. Without each of you this wouldn't have been such an amazing time. I am indebted to each of you.
Raja and Chargebackhelp - My Indian brother because my Sri Lankan and Pakistani quota is filled
Dennis and Cam4 - You invented a new language the first night. I am waiting for my Rosetta Stone tapes so I can learn it as well.
Steven and the Grooby family - I am glad everyone got to sleep indoors and in a bed on this trip. You guys were a lot of laughs.
Harmik and Epoch - If I could post the video of you being the dancing queen I would. You can dance. You can jive. You were having the time of your life.
Reto, Stefan and the BrokerBabe/Glize team - We missed Reto but Stefan picked up the slack.
Vuk and Quantox - That was the first time I ever saw a Louis Vuitton dirndl. We expect your wife back.
Tibor and MMG Gate - Needs to be there next time. Would be insane.
Rene and First Mobile Cash - A dear friend who understands what is needed to make the attendees look a little more beautiful as a group.
Joel and Gamma - Singing about you never gets old.

Finally (not really), everyone who came as a guest of one of the sponsors. I hope you had as much of a great time as I did. More incredible memories thanks to all of you. I hope our friendships last until they burn my dead body and spread my ashes all over the Oktoberfest grounds.

JFK thanks for supporting us and coming out and taking a ton of great pictures and videos. You my friend help keep the memories fresh as the brain cells burn off.

Lastly a special thank you to Michel Plante. On the first official day he was there helping Ines with registration and just doing whatever a good show host would do. He wasn't even asked. Just out of the goodness of his heart he did. And the poor guy was rewarded by meeting his long lost German brother/sister. (If someone can post pictures I will send them to you. They have to be seen to be believed.)

I hope we can pull it off next year. And I hope more of you join in and share in this fantastic time. Believe it or not it is great for networking as well as a fun time.

Thank you for reading all of this. Sorry to have taken 10 minutes of your life that I can't give back. Next time you see me make sure I get you a drink or 3. Just tell me you suffered through the entire post. Or give me shit for not being creative enough to write something different on each board that I posted this.
