It's not that easy, Trump is against CNN and clearly anti establishment and vice versa, this goes back to him in the form of criticism by different groups in our society. If the struggle between Trump/voters and CNN/establishment never existed, he would also probably not win.
In the end Media and establishment opened up the Whitehouse for Trump...
