What ever works.

Creating a need: well he has a need if he is looking at porn LOL. You can't just ask what gets you off -- too embarrassing sometimes. You might be able to offer leading propositions. If you have diversity in your content that is one way -- let him chose his interest path. If your content is of just a few areas of interests think if how you can possibility segment your content offerings to that buyer's interests. It is always easier to sell a customer on what he wants -- getting to that point is not easy for most.

I am just offering another idea.
What about the customer that COULD buy just one site at $7 to $10 but faced with packages he cannot afford every month -- he just walks away?

I like to sell everyone I can and still make a profit. A friend of mine who has made millions is always saying any profit is a good one. The easiest guy to upsell is the man you have already sold and delivered a positive experience with satisfactory or exemplary value to.

Talk to me about profitable customer acquisition ... That makes a business work long term.

It is hard to make a customer a friend in this business. I personally stepped in with a customer and solved his VPN and purchasing issues, he was a established customer who was traveling in Africa, an oil engineer as I recall. I sorted out the problem with our captive processing system admin -- that man bought $1,000 in cam credits that week -- holy fuck -- definitely worth my time. Cams is different I know that but solve a person's issues an make him feel a valued customer. Even if he was a little fish -- in my book it is worth the effort. Success is incremental.
