Large banks, other financial institutions, as well as government entities apply their policies, actions and malfeasance to large classes of customers (or citizens) --as a unit-- so I can see no reasonable, or equitable basis, for not allowing those persons petition the courts, to redress any complaint in the courts as a unit (a class) by a class action lawsuit.
