You don't understand this subject Mark.
Trump didn't "take away" any "national parks".
What was done before was a misuse of the Antiquities Act. The act was originally made (in 1906) to allow the President to proclaim things as "National MONUMENTS".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antiquities_Act
In other words...an Indian burial mound or a historical home, etc.
In the last couple of decades...Presidents figured out that this was a "loophole" which allowed them to do MASSIVE Federal land grabs without the consent of Congress.
In other words...the Federal Govt. taking AWAY the land from the people of the states.
Today President Trump returned a lot of land to the state of Utah. Where it had always been since Utah first became a state. In other words the exact same way it was until Dec. 28,2016 when President Obama, as a lame duck President, "Proclaimed" 1,351,849 acres of Utah land to be a "national monument".
Look it up for yourself. Don't read "opinion" crap. Just read the facts.
It was Presidential over reach at it's very worst.
All Trump just did was return things EXACTLY the way they were exactly one year ago.
No "national park" disappeared and nobody had to say "goodbye" to the land. It's the same as it was just 12 months ago.
There is way too much drama and bias in the media. And then people from other country's read or watch these media sources and come away with a complete misunderstanding.
The media simply can not be trusted anymore. They are lying to everyone at almost every turn to push an agenda to make Trump out to be the "bad guy".
